  1. Now that I think of it, my grandma is close to 80, has heart problems and many other illnesses, and yet she takes the bike half the time (even if it's only for 1km every other day). She doesn't drive, so the other half she takes the bus. The lady is pretty overweight, yet it doesn't matter to her: she insists on using the bike to get some groceries. Let's assume her biking habits help a bit against her love for sweets and other snacks.

  16. On the topic of e-bikes. A few days ago I went on a small trip on my bike and when I simply rolled down a winding path on a hill, some person in her presumed 60s rode past me at probably 25km/h on her e-bike. I was already rolling fast without pedalling. It was nuts. Yes, there are plenty who do not go wild with their motors, but the tendency.... And she was only 60 or whatever. Let's not mention people at that age or much older who obviously still drive cars.... Hey, now we can kill each other by running a bike into another bike much more easily.
