The last image of my face I put online myself was in 2009 when I was 11.

I swear I am so sick of this sentence due to sheer volume alone

We are in the process of inheriting a project whose development our client outsourced to another company, and the sheer excess storage they have for the user files one of the APIs handles confused us at first. We asked them about it, and their reply was accompanied by a shrug. It's not much, until your factor in how little data users have uploaded since launch. Idk why they are already paying for that much. May as well give us and therefore me that money.

Always do at first. A bit annoyoing, innit. Not even part of the community. That acronym we get to see so often

@RenderingUser code isn't just text. It gets done a lot, but last time I checked what seniors think of the output, they were not that happy about it.

I bet you are using something for your stack which that sentence also applies to. The thing is mainly that people have used it in too many ways. Just because you can bend WP by 90 degrees and slap countless shite on it doesn't mean the end product is great. Then again, like I said, this happens to not few pieces of softward and everything can turn into a turd easily anyway. WP is just ahead a bit of everything else. — a WP dev

Hm, but why is this in the comment section on top of that. I first assumed he would only "tease" this sad backstory, because you all put it in the comments too, but.... nope.

Where is the damn eject button.

All the theorists forgetting that this problem has been around for ages. AI aside, imagine you find a spot in your script that needs one more sentence and you record it the next morning. You voice may sound different. If your setup is not that strict that may record it differently also. If you don't edit the section to fit it well, you get that as a result. He even mentioned that at some point. Is he using AI all the time? Doubt.

At the tiny company I work at, our boss duo and the design people still don"t think mobile first, so us two devs are essentially allowed to make 99% of the choices when it comes to how the responsivenes turns out and nobody complains. Thing is, my coworker is a senior and 15 yrs older than I am, yet he chooses mininum effort which usually ends up making the site look broken. He gives no shits even when our schedule is relaxed af. Drives me up the wall. The higherups and clients rarely complain though. He knows what he is doing, isn't he. Then again, I will never be happy about non-desktop designs, despite being right in the middle of my 20s. Bless wide viewports.
