It was Nationalism that got us our independence. The natural follow up is it has to be Nationalism that will sustain our independence. Tailpiece: what is parochialism (Tamil pride, Bengal pride, Jat pride, and such other “prides”)? Are they any different from Nationalism in feelings and resultant actions? Let us not fool ourselves by saying NATIONALISM is dangerous. It is time “pseudo liberals” changed the narrative. Nation is not confined to drawing rooms and “media articles etc.”.

@anshuraj4277 Anshu, we give False directions like right, left and centre to Nationalism. Natiinalism is simp,y Nation and its people (ALL) first. It is that simple. In their wisdom “experts” aided by the media and some vested interests have coined this unnatural terms “far right” etc. Enjoy. Keep it Simple.

@anshuraj4277 Anshu, you have not got my point. There is no such thing as Far right, Left or centre Nationalism. They are coined by vested interests (political, religious etc…). Hitler was dictator etc… Japan at one stage was forced to go in the offensive because of invaders etc…. Nationalism is just that Everything in the Nation’s interest. It is that simple. Anything else is not Nationalism. It is a misuse of the term like the misuse of secularism etc…. Long story. Just chill and enjoy.

@anshuraj4277 It is all a matter of perception. In my days, the soccer team was lined up in 5,3,2,1 formation. (Now the most common formation is 2,4,4,1). In the former the five forwards were Left in, Left out, centre forward, right in and right out). Now it is just forwards and defenders(interchangeable). But the field , ball and the rules are the same. You see, it is all only about playing a fair game. Names don't matter. Enjoy.
