  1. These issues are less complicated than they are made out to be. The simple explanation is that unless there is a quid pro quo there is no relationship. Geographical location of Pak (as SG had said in an earlier programme) is what they can give. China and Russia are interdependent economically (SG has said this also in an earlier programme). What can India contribute? A market? Can India give away the one thing that will help in its development, progress etc. Tailpiece: India has no choice but to keep at bay the wolves on two fronts and concentrate on the economy.
