Somebody had famously said “I disagree with what you say but I will forever fight to uphold your right to say it” or words to that effect. Exercising a right to protest does not automatically make the reason of the protest automatically right too. The celebrities and activists jump onto a band wagon supporting the right to protest as, often it is their bread and butter to fame. A democratic Nation is run by elected Governments and not celebrities and activists. And democracy is not always about protests...
