  1. My two bit Regarding air quality in North India… 1. What I have noticed in the USA that majority industrialization has been in the coast areas – West and East. Central USA has largely remained agrarian… The winds, so to speak, paly in the coast and at times to devastating effects! 2. In regard to the sports federations… the sports persons are not saints… I will leave it at that. Don’t call for politicians to put it right. Call for sportspersons to put it right. Believe me they can. 3. The opposition in India just opposes. Not now, but for 75 years. But the media always wants to be “liberals” and support the opposition actions. Here again the media and the people can put it right and not the Government alone. 4. Kharge… then again, the Dalit and caste discussions… abhorring for the common woman. better avoided. Raghuram Rajan can’t lead but he can play a good role in the government. 5. Sarcasm and mimicking in parliament is deplorable. 6. Whether the opposition or the Government who did not want to debate is a moot point. 7. Any law can be misused as they have been for ages We avoid discussing the real issues. Tailpiece: The point is that the opposition since 70:years have been abdicating their real job and do not allow the government to function in Parliament with the only intention of regaining power.
