  1. Excellent and quick analysis. But drawing parallels with India is, in the least, mischievous. Inequality is a character of democracies. The relative inequality is more or less in the same ratio in all democracies. The only answer is for the private sector to address this inequality in a more determined way. The rural - urban divide in India is the bane. Media should also address how India need to address this. It is doing it by improving connectivity. Remember, as a consequence less than 1% of the Indian population watch/read theprint (just a guess from what statistics I see on YouTube). That is the nature of the beast. Yet India can’t now turn away from being a democracy. Can it?
