  2. Yes Sudhir... But the IAF can't stop flying those planes unless the Nation gives them enough new ones. They have a job to do. They dutifully do it to the best of their ability with all that they have. I hope the speed of replacements picks up.

  3.  @kevinp9110  yes. For a long period during the decades of the 1990s and 2000s, there has been hardly any new induction of ACs into the IAF. IAF are helpless as they have a task to perform - safekeeping of the sovereignty. IAF can’t unilaterally decide we won’t fly….like the usual strikes and hartals by some in the public and private sector. Military will use all at its disposal to do its duty. It is for the NATION to provide them with the wherewithal to do that. I fervently hope that Nation (and the Government) do that. Thankfully it is happening now. Rafael’s, Indigenous LAC etc… But we lost precious two decades for military upgrades.
