Comments by "" (@kallachi729) on "Like them or not, Taliban are a reality. India can deal with them if BJP resets its politics" video.
@chakkamaheedhar2295 US after putting boots on ground have now taken back the tattered leather. Russia failed miserably in the 1980s leaving with boots left behind. It is easy for an Army to fight another Army. Army can never win a conflict against local armed guys especially in a foreign land and in a terrain like in Afghanistan. India will have to fight a different battle. A difficult diplomatic battle.

As an afterthought to my earlier comment - does this suggestion of “resetting politics” reek of a similarity to Gandhiji’s reaction to the khilafat movement of the pre - independence 1900s. This aspect of mixing religion with politics is not a recent phenomenon. It is as old as advent of religions into the sub-continent, centuries ago. If we do not accept that as a Nation, we can’t even make a beginning to work together for economic progress.

A very simplistic way of putting it. The point at issue WHAT is good for India? A peaceful and progressive Afghanistan. There a civil war is in the offing between Government forces and the Taliban. There will be chaos in the region and loose mercenaries who can be activated in Kashmir by Pakistan. Now tell us WHAT is a good action plan by India; to use your words “ What is good for India?”

@neilpina898 the poverty in India is similar in ratio and feeling as in any advanced Nation. The poor here are poorer. Rest assured nobody goes hungry in India.

@neellss 1. less than 5% of population do not reflect a trend. 2. Durian the pandemic India has not issued stimulus Cheques to feed people 3. I have also lived in the US and visited all those countries and more (except China as a country, but have set foot on its soil) . We are handling more than 13369 lakh people. It is easy to paint a pathetic picture with selected pictures and cases. Request do not indulge in these selective opinions. You, I feel, are more intelligent than to be doing that. Maybe you have had a bad personal experience with your boss. Don’t generalize what is not. And, you think, nobody sucks to the boss in ,say, USA. Just asking

The best advantage Afghan has is the terrain. Like the Vietnamese jungles which did in the US in 1960s, it is the mountains in Afghanistan that has defeated the USA and allies. Not brain, intelligence etc of fighters. To say that a major political party of a sovereign state needs to change its politics to “woo” Taliban may be preposterous. If you meant, foreign policy, OK. Good programmes, like this analysis, in The Print are negated by unthnking headings of some of its videos! SG? Tail piece. Cross your heart and tell me whether religion in politics, in India, is a creation of BJP which is only 3+ decades old. Disclaimer. I am not an eternal supporter of any political party.
