  2.  Sawtooth Survival  That are not the real facts.De Gaulle, as a young officer as commander of a tank division, asked his superieurs to start a counter attack in France, as his division was trained in a German way. He was ordered to stop. Later he was commander to start the counter revolution against the German troops. Of course the commanders of the army (OAS) did not want to loose Algerie. The revolution of may 1968 made the Gaulle to free the jailed generals and probably that was the reason Daniel Cohn Bandit and his gang stopped their actions.
