  1. The North Korean regime isn't delusional or mad. It's actually very calculated. They have whole government departments working on strategies and tactics long in advance. And Kim and his elites know very well that all out war would put them personally on the front line (and there's no point in ruling over a pile of rubble). The image of North Korea being unpredictable and therefore very dangerous, is North Korean propaganda. Because no one wants to piss off a violent unpredictable lunatic, right? The way to deal with this is for both Japan and South Korea to announce they are considering a nuclear deterrent of their own (they don't actually have to have the intention of doing this). This would put pressure on China, because for China a nuclear armed Japan and South Korea would be a disaster. Not long ago Kim executed his uncle, Jang Song-thaek. Some believe this is because Kim saw his uncle (who had mentored him and helped put into power) as being too close to the Chinese. And its most likely that the Kim regime fears regime change imposed from China far more than it fears it from the US. Because North Korea is very dependent on China. And with dependence comes a potential loss of authority. North Korea is China's buffer state. So let the Chinese know that a nuclear armed North Korea will not just be a problem for South Korea, Japan, and the US, but that it will have consequences that China fears most. So how serious are the Chinese about preventing nuclear proliferation? And if they're not, are they prepared to live with the consequences?

  5. Obviously, non-UK citizens weren't given a vote in the referendum. Because they're not UK citizens. In much the same way as the rest of the UK weren't given a vote on the break up of the country during the Scottish referendum. As for these peoples future in the UK, that very much depends on how willing the EU is to offer a good deal. And when will the BBC be highlighting the fate of UK citizens in Europe? Has Brussels promised any unreciprocated guarantees on their right to remain in the EU? Idk. Because the BBC and the rest of the media have no interest in asking.
