Be sure to include that one of the suspects, the former deputy chief of Ukraine's security service, Volodymyr Satsyuk, fled to Russia after the poisoning and was later given citizenship along with two other suspects. And just like with the Litvinenko case, Moscow has refuse to extradite them.

We haven't seen violent demonstrations like these in that part of the world since at least a couple of weeks ago.
6
Yeah, it really is not healthy for kids to think they have to pay for attention
6
You can vote out the government in the UK. You can't vote out the ayatollah. If you can't see the distinction, you're a fuckin idiot.
6
Do the Russian's really want to go to war in defence of the right of a mass murdering tyrant to use chemical weapons on his own people? I don't think so. Turkey shot down a Russian jet that Putin said wasn't even in Turkish airspace, and the US wiped out hundreds of Russians recently in Syria's Deir al-Zour province. And what did Putin do? He buried his dead in meek silence.
6
Start by cleaning out the vermin in the kremlin.
6
I wonder how long Magic Grandpa can sit on that fence? - Promising a second referendum/Not promising a second referendum. Being against the EU/But not being against the EU. Wanting out/But not wanting out. Listening to the people/But not listening to the people.
6
What would tracing the call prove? They would still have to respond no matter where the call came from. And if you're the responding officer, you're not gonna want to take chances with your, or the (fictitious) hostages lives.
6
This is what legitimising political violence leads to. And both the right and the left are as responsible as each other.
6
Call him whatever you like. He'll be back threatening nuclear war within a couple of months anyhow.
6
The 2018 world cup will basically be a replay of the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Only with football.
6
Fuck off now Mugabe before your rigor mortis infects the entire country.
6
No, I don't think its an actual prison. It just a hotel where the Saudi government have put a lot of corrupt elites in house arrest.
6
MrB1923 Would that be why pretty much the entire western world is now isolating Russia?
6
Is that all you have? Conspiracies and pro-KGB propaganda? Judging everyone by your own low standards does nothing for Russia's image abroad. You just come across as a bitter, cynical, and defeated nation envious at the success of others.
5
Grow up. Then people might start taking you seriously.
5
Yes. She needs her place in front of the camera.
5
That's the problem with following someone who actually existed and who held a position of power (as apposed to someone who didn't and therefor never did-Jesus). Mohammed was just a man. Brutal by todays standards, who had all the faults and failings of any other leader of his time. His word wasn't just spiritual law. But literal law too. Whereas Jesus was the rebel, Mohammed was authority. And authority has responsibility. It has to compromise and act hypocritically. Otherwise his people would not have survived. Always better to follow ideals and not the man. Otherwise you have to morally justify his actions both good and bad. And there is the problem with Islam.

I seem to remember Russia allied itself with the Nazis? Yes. I remember reading something about the Hitler/Stalin Pact and the carve-up of Poland? Not in a Russian history book, obviously! Clearly the Poles ain't gonna let that happen again!
5
China has no more control over north Korea than anyone else. The north Koreans want credit and aid. And if the Chinese want the regime to behave they will have to pay up like everyone else. The Kim regime knows China wants to keep Korea divided above all else. That's China's weakness and Pyongyang's strength. How to deal with a problem you need?
5
Bit like living near an airport or a highway or on a main street I guess.
5
Yeah, fuck me but you really shouldn't be throwing the word 'illiterate' around in sentences like that. Clearly a David Icke fan. Lol.
5
So you would compare everything to an extremely rich minority? The argument is not now about some people having too little, but some people having not as much as a few other people? Infantile politics based on envy of the success of others. And you wouldn't like to live in a world where success was not possible.
5
'Exploiting'? You are free to work for who you want in a capitalist society. But you are not owed a living by anyone. We live in a golden age in the west unsurpassed by any other. With more rights, privileges, and freedoms than at any time in history. So don't pretend that the worlds poor care for the spoilt infantilized adults you see here. The rest of the planet would like to get in on the standard of living we have in the west. That is why they come here. The world needs more capitalism. Not less. More trade. More globalism. So if you care for the poor around the world, then you want the G20. Or maybe you're just a protectionist masquerading as one of the concerned? Either way, opening up China to the capitalistic system has lifted millions out of poverty. Same in India. Real poverty. Not the 'poverty' of not having as much as the wealthy few. These people are simply an embarrassment.
5
Really tho. Can it get any worse than Corbyn? I'm betting most of his herd would vote for ISIS if they somehow managed to get themselves on the ballot paper
5
José Dourado Obviously I agree with your concerns. But the EU must be less restricting. It needs to understand that if you only give people two choices, then chances are they might very well choose the one the EU doesn't like. That is what happened with Brexit. You cannot blackmail people into something they don't want and expect them to like it. If the EU has the interest of Europe as its main concern, then it must act like it. Do not make an enemy of the UK.
5
Assad has killed way more of his own people than ISIS. He is not the answer. His brutality is what led to the war in the first place. All because he is desperate to cling to power. And it worries me that some people are so quick to believe the propaganda of a mass murdering tyrant. We know he uses chemical weapons. Even Trump knows he uses chemical weapons! How stupid are you?
5
Russia attempting to spread its cancer back into Europe.
5
Yeah, but she a fascist tho. We all know she is.
5
At one point she promised a quarter of a million extra police officers for London. That's about twice the number of police offices in the entire country. Bit of an overkill imo. I know that Corbyn and his front bench live in Loony-Tune Land, but I wasn't expecting that.
5
What do we all think would happen if the Indian government supported hundreds of thousands of Indians in storming the Pakistani border? If Israel has no right to exist. Then neither does Pakistan. And Turkey should give back Constantinople.
5
Maduro looks about as competent as Borat. And the state of his socialist shitheap of a country is clearly evidence of this.
5
You're a model. You make a living by conforming to what society considers to be beautiful. You're not hideously disfigured. Or just average looking. You're not old, or in a wheelchair. You're just fat. So think yourself lucky and go on a diet. Or get a less vacuous job that's not all about looks?
5
How to make a problem no longer a problem. Get Trump to say there's a problem. Then all those people who have been saying there's a problem, will suddenly say there's no problem.
5
@hswami74 Do you know what 'Globalism' is?
5
No one can tell me what 'Globalisation' even is. And yet they parrot the word like a mantra.
5
3 of the 4 wanted by the Dutch police are Russian citizens. Why are Russian military units even on Ukrainian territory? It can't be because of any 'nazi junta', because of course, there have been two elections held in Ukraine since the Russian invasion (not to mention the fact that the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelenskiy, is Jewish) - Genuine elections mind you. Where the people can actually vote out their government. Not like in Russia, where the KGB secret policeman always 'wins'.
5
'Zionism' is at least productive and successful, even if you believed the very worst about it. Whereas, the Islamist paedophile-worshiping death cult is savage, backward, and self destructive. And of no use to humanity whatsoever.
5
Novocastrian Winter I just feel you would be much happier there.
5
Putin named it Blondi if anyone's interested.
5
Yeah but now Maduro is looking for an aid package. So its out with the anti-US rhetoric and in with the 'why can't we all just get along?'
5
The last time the US attacked a Russian base in Syria, Trump called up Putin and told him he better get its troops out before the attack. Putin meekly obeyed. And before that Putin did nothing when Turkey shot down a Russian jet, that Putin said wasn't even in Turkish airspace. Putin will do nothing against the US. Because he knows the US could bring Russia to its knees without even firing a shot.
5
GRU assassins. Acting on the orders of their sinister KGB master.
5
If you wanted to become part of a United States of Europe, you should have been upfront and honest about it. And campaigned for it. And then had the good grace to accept when the majority rejected it.
5
In a prison you don't get the option to leave. She could have left any time she wanted, and gone back to her home country. The UK has a right to secure its own borders. Illegal immigration is a big problem. And we know there is a campaign to close Yarl's Wood. The aim is not to change immigration law, but to make it unenforceable.
5
...Cue lots of fake accounts extolling the magnificence of KGB colonel Putin!
5
I would rather the UK government meet Israeli officials then Hamas/Hezbollah/IRA terrorists.
5
Russians are obsessed with Ukraine's election - because in Russian elections, everybody already knows the KGB secret policeman will win.
5
So you've never heard of the Arab Spring then?
5
You know he put the lives of many genuine human rights activists in danger all around the world, right?
