  1. Holding a second referendum because you don't like the result of the first referendum is not 'being more democratic'. Besides, how would the result of a second referendum be any more valid than the first? Or a third, forth, or fifth?

  2. The time for Brussels to make concessions is long gone. David Cameron went begging for anything he could get to show that Brussels was interested in a deal, but got absolutely nothing. And I think that Brussels picking the pockets of the UK tax payers as they head for the door has put an end to any trust or respect for the EU as an institution as far as voters are concerned. They have continually demanded the UK live up to its obligations, but have shown no such loyalty towards the UK. I would trust nothing the EU says.
