  1. You're a model. You make a living by conforming to what society considers to be beautiful. You're not hideously disfigured. Or just average looking. You're not old, or in a wheelchair. You're just fat. So think yourself lucky and go on a diet. Or get a less vacuous job that's not all about looks?

  3. Only trouble is, she's in an industry that sells what's on the outside. Nothing else. It's all about looks. At what point did she think otherwise?

  4. Surely its what's on the inside that counts? Unless you're a model, obviously. Then it's all about looks. And somehow I don't think the whole of society is going to conform to her desire to be obese and attractive, just because she can't put the minimum amount of effort into her chosen career.

  5. That's a good point, Draz'Gul. Why are there no plus size Olympic sprinters? In fact, why do you have to run fast to win a gold in sprinting at all? What about those who can't run fast? Or can't be bothered to train?
