  2. So good intentions are enough to win the Nobel Peace Prize? Not outcome? Have they come up with a method of disarming that doesn't leave only the worlds worst regimes with nuclear weapons?

  3. But nukes are the symptom. Not the cause. The cause is regimes like the one in North Korea, the Iranian regime, or the Putin regime. Ukraine gave up its nuclear arsenal, and look what happened to them. This award is simply a prize given to an organisation that tells us all what we already know. It has no answers. And as the only place it can have any effect is in the democratic west (where it can hope to campaign openly against nukes), it is only in the west that they are likely to be successful (as regimes like North Korea don't have to take notice of public opinion).
