  2. This post is clearly an attempt to push a religious agenda. I'm not saying you should be locked up because of it, but I do think it promotes a simplistic, intolerant, and infantile world view that leads to bigotry and hate. Why you have such a downer on the gays? I'd be more concerned about your gods 'eternal damnation' if I were you. Be thankful it's all complete bollox dreamt up a bunch of ignorant medieval clowns!

  3. And how is 'wickedness' objective? It's clearly subjective. As I'd consider 'eternal damnation' to be the ultimate in wickedness. That is my subjective opinion.

  4. Bryan C 'Cognitive dissonance'? And at what point would condemning someone to ever lasting damnation be an act of love and kindness? My argument is based on sound reasoning. Yours is based on blind, unquestioning ideology. Which kinda precludes you from lecturing others on what is, or is not, wicked.

  5. ...'Logical proof' that completely collapses if the bible is not the word of god. And where is the proof that it is? Within the bible??? I was expecting something more. Statements are not proof of fact! Nothing logical or 'mathematical' about any of that. Two thousand years to come up with something, anything, and that is the very best you can manage?

  7. Bryan C In my subjective opinion, your god's law is far from perfect. I'm sure you've read the old testament? How anyone could accept the 'morality' on offer there, and then preach about gayness being 'a sin' is beyond me. A guy tells a story of how he was put in jail for having sex with another guy. Not something I would ever want to do myself, but that doesn't preclude me from empathising when he tells of how the suicide of another guy he named to the authorities has sat on his shoulders since he was in his early twenties. Maybe you should set your own thoughts and priorities in order before casting the first stone?
