That's the problem with following someone who actually existed and who held a position of power (as apposed to someone who didn't and therefor never did-Jesus). Mohammed was just a man. Brutal by todays standards, who had all the faults and failings of any other leader of his time. His word wasn't just spiritual law. But literal law too. Whereas Jesus was the rebel, Mohammed was authority. And authority has responsibility. It has to compromise and act hypocritically. Otherwise his people would not have survived. Always better to follow ideals and not the man. Otherwise you have to morally justify his actions both good and bad. And there is the problem with Islam.

Assad has killed way more of his own people than ISIS. He is not the answer. His brutality is what led to the war in the first place. All because he is desperate to cling to power. And it worries me that some people are so quick to believe the propaganda of a mass murdering tyrant. We know he uses chemical weapons. Even Trump knows he uses chemical weapons! How stupid are you?

The best solution for Syria is for Assad to go. His family has been in power for over forty years. Syria has been a war zone for six years. And the only reason why there hasn't been any UN investigation into his use of chemical weaponry is because Russian continually veto any such investigation! (I wonder why?). And Libya may not be a success story, but it's in a far better position than Syria!

Hardly. The UN has been able to investigate if such war crimes have taken place. But thanks to Russia's veto, they are not allowed to investigate by who. Hundreds of thousands forced to flee, tens of thousands tortured to death by the Assad regime, chemical weapons attacks, and half a million dead. Libya is a success story compared to Syria.
