  1. What parliament votes for makes no difference if the EU says no. And if the EU says no, then, as parliament has already voted against leaving with no deal, the UK won't leave. Polls already show that people believe parliament is trying to sabotage Brexit (55% believe Parliament is determined to thwart Brexit - 19% disagree). Even 38% of those who voted to remain agree with this (ComRes). This is understandable, as parliament have voted against what they don't want (the deal on offer and leaving with no deal at all) but have left open the option to remain. So, if parliament want to be trusted by the people who put them where they are, they need to vote against remaining.
