@opheliabawles9646 For your little analogy to work, we'd have to believe that there is a moral equivalence between fighting against fascist Islamist groups like the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS (not to mention Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi), and those fascist Islamist groups themselves. We'd also have to believe that bombing schools and hospitals is a strategic aim of the UK and its western allies. Is it? And, obviously, we'd have to see the 'Muslim world' as an entirely separate 'other', and assume that they are all supporters of the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS (and Saddam & Gaddafi). Rather than their main victims.
