Where is that evidence? You are statistically more likely to die in police custody in the UK if you are white. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3132206.stm

Jason93609 There have been 1,563 deaths in police custody since 1990. Of which 156 have been defined as from black and minority ethnic communities (9.981%). The ethnic makeup of the UK is 86% white. Non whites make up 14% of the population. Therefor, statistically you are more likely to die in police custody if you are white. Moreover, deaths in police custody have gone down considerably since 1990. In 2015 there were 31. In 1990 there were 62. In 1991 there were 65. In 1992 there were 53 and so on.

Check the statistics. They are the same ones BLM use.

'...white people cannot be oppressed on the grounds of race, because we are the race that created racial oppression'. You sound incredibly ignorant. You ought to study history more. But just so as you know, you are statistically more likely to die in the UK in police custody if you are white. So where does that leave BLM? Link http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3132206.stm

There are generally two reasons why people embellish sentences with unnecessarily long words. 1) They want to appear more intelligent than they actually are. Or 2) They want to disguise the fact that they have nothing to say.
3
Where? Point it out. All I hear is BS spinning of the truth. The fact is we've been on flat-earth territory the whole time. It's just you are so determined to be politically correct, you refuse to acknowledge the reality. These people are expert at manipulating race for their own ends. Its sad because it undermines the fight against real racism. People stop listening because they know they are being fed lies.
2
Ethnic minorities may well be stopped and searched more. Inner cities tend to have high crime rates and there is a link between poverty and crime. As for mental health, an individuals mental health problems are not the fault of the police. Or perhaps you are now claiming mental illness to be racist also? As for earnings, education, employment, etc, many ethnic minorities outperform the majority of white Brits in these areas. But again, these are not the responsibility of the police. Neither does your desperate attempt to bring them up cover the lies BLM have told about the police.
2
Perhaps the backlash was down to the lies BLM was spewing out? You can't just shout down everyone who points out those lies as wacist weactionaries.
2
And stop with all this 'enablers' nonsense! You sound like a brainwashed six former!
2
Sam Sadleir I wasn't making one
2
Sam Sadleir Nah, mate. I'm just not into racial identity politics
2
Yeah, that's probably why many end up supporting a lying race-baiting organization like BLM. Don't want to be called racist!
1
An 'enabler' of racism. Very fashionable term I'm sure. I guess it means if you refuse to swallow the lies of race-baiters like BLM then you are part of the problem. You are helping the racists. Its just a way of shutting down the discussion really. Just another way of calling someone a racist because they disagree with you. But I don't need the benefit of your doubt, thanx. You ain't the gatekeeper. And I could care less if people call me a racist, because I know I am not. And also, I've only stalked this one comment. So don't go crawling off into you safe space just yet.
1
Plus of course, if I was afraid of being called a racist I'd just agree with everything BLM says, wouldn't I? Just like you!
1
I don't mind questions being asked. I just don't like race-baiting liars who deliberately misquote statistics. That doesn't make me a racist, an 'enabler', or a reactionary.
1
You are the one who is ideologically obsessed. I have not made hateful comments or used hateful rhetoric. I have simply pointed out that BLM have falsified statistics in order to demonise the police. That is because they are not an anti-racism movement, but simply race baiters who use lies and extremist propaganda for their own political ends. They believe their skin colour makes them immune to criticism. That they are entitled to demand whatever they wish. And lie however they like without being questioned. And clearly you do too. You might be used to shutting down the argument by using magical words like 'enabling', or by calling someone a reactionary simply because they disagree with you. But that's not how things work in the real world. You are no more entitled to an opinion than anyone else. Nobody is. No matter what colour their skin is. Did you even check out the link? You will see the statistics BLM used. Or are those statistics only viable so far as BLM wishes them to be?
1
And as for ASSUMING maliciousness, I'm guessing only BLM are allowed to do that, right?
1
So you don't care now? Well, I do. Cos I fuckin live here.
1
+Steph D Where is this institutional racism? The subject they began with (and which is at the heart of their argument) is non white deaths in police custody. And yet statistically you are more likely to do die in police custody if you are white. You can check it out for yourself using the statistics BLM quote when convenient to their argument, but ignore when it is not. http://www.inquest.org.uk/statistics/deaths-in-police-custody

Either that or BLM are a bunch of race-baiting liars who falsify statistics. And people like Owen Smith are so painfully desperate not to appear racist they don't dare to disagree or ask any awkward questions. I love the way white liberal-left Guardian reader types act around anyone of a darker skin! Its like all critical thinking just blows away with the wind! xD
