  2. Communism is not something that is done FOR the working class. It is something that is done TO them. Communism is about appropriating the hard work of individuals. It is legalised theft. It is anti-democratic because the state holds all the means of production. Therefore, the individual becomes subservient to the state, and not the other way around. Too much power is in the hands of too few. Democracy is the ultimate expression of capitalism. Political parties have to compete with one another in the (and I don't wanna get to high-brow here) 'marketplace of ideas' and sell themselves to the consumer. Communism can never go hand in hand with democracy, because it works against the interests of the individual. And we are ALL individuals. If you want proof of this, name one communist country that is not, or was not, a dictatorship.

  3. '...communism in its purest sense requires the means of production to be controlled by the working class not the state'. This is unworkable. Firstly, who is the working class? Secondly, who makes the decisions? Who sets the wages? Who pays the wages? Who decides the working hours? Do they have weekends off? Or Wednesdays and Thursdays? Or both? Do they vote these things into place? Or do they vote for a manager to implement them? Either way, what do you think would be the result?

  15. The Iranians have indeed supported Corbyn. They gave him his very own show on their propaganda channel 'Press TV'. The very same channel that worked alongside Iranian security forces to torture confessions from Iranian dissidents.  I could find you a link if you're interested. The phrase 'useful idiot' springs to mind. Which is basically Corbyn's entire career summed up in two words. And Corbyn most definitely has given his support to terrorists. Aside from his very cosy relationship with his friends in the IRA, he enjoys the company of Hamas, an Islamist terrorist organisation. And has shared platforms with the most vocal supporters of jihadism in a way he utterly refuses to do when it comes to his non-terrorist political opponents at home. What impressive principals the man has!  .

  16. There is a big difference between talking and praising. Corbyn honoured the IRA. He also call's Hamas his 'friends'. He is proof that the far left have much in common with the far right.

  17. When two sides sit down to stop a conflict, they do not praise one another or call each other 'friends'. Hamas is a fascist Islamist organization. They, like the IRA, are terrorists. The very LEAST we can expect from any future prime minister is that he does not honour or praise people who wish to blow us up. You are playing with words. But ask yourself this, if a tory prime minister had called a far right neo-Nazis terrorist group his 'friends' or called for their 'sacrifices' to be honoured, what would your response be?

  18. One of the reasons why, once again, you cannot tell the far left from the far right is Iraq. Nobody had to support the reasons for war. You could argue that the existence of a fascist Baathist warmongering and terrorist supporting Hitler/Stalin in the middle east where none of the west's concern. Not our problem. But the war happened. And those on the left had a choice. They had three options. 1) They could support the idea of building a better Iraq out of the ashes. 2) They could wash their hands of it completely. Or 3) They could actively work against building a better future for that unfortunate country. To their shame, many on the left chose the third option. They cheered on the 'militants' and questioned the 'legality' of getting rid of a genocidal tyrant. Corbyn was chief among them. Now those very same people wish to lecture the rest of us on the superior morality of their politics. They claim it is our moral duty to accept millions of people fleeing from the middle east. Why? By their own words they have decided that those people are the 'other'. Not us. None of our concern. And therefore not our responsibility. Who cares if they live under a brutal dictatorship? Who cares of they flee a war torn nation? We should not meddle in their affairs. And there is no solidarity with the oppressed. The left lost its way. Millions of fuckwits went marching thro the streets shouting 'Not in my Name!'. Well, you got your wish! And now millions of Syrians are paying the price of non intervention.

  22. I've come to the conclusion that those on the extreme left have no self awareness. Corbyn spent his entire worthless political career sniping and criticising the labour leadership. Now he's leader, he complains about disloyalty and talks of 'coups'. Massive hypocrisy.
