Don't know why you assume that if you have another referendum it'll be any more legitimate than the one you ignored before it.

We haven't implemented the result of the first referendum yet.

It matches your dreadful ideology.

'Leave' is as specific as you can get. You are either a member of the European Union. Or you aren't. And as the predicted apocalypse fails to deliver, the hysterics on the remain side will all be forgotten.

Exactly right. No one is fooled by the 'We respect the referendum result, but...' argument.

Harris You have simply listed a number of alternatives that you would prefer rather than leaving the EU. Only EU membership isn't and never was simply about trade. It's also about political union. And the country has voted against continued membership. Countries make trade deals with other countries all the time. But tell me the last time the UK held a referendum on a trade deal? Tell me the last time the EU held an EU wide referendum on a trade deal? How about the US and TTIP? The US is the UK's single largest trading partner. But did the EU promise a referendum on its outcome at any time? Will any EU country be holding a referendum on any new trade deal with the UK? And supposing you get a second referendum, will you be voting on the convenient assumption that a rejection of any new UK/EU trade deal will mean the UK stays in the EU? Why should that be the case? The country voted to leave. Any rejection in a referendum of a trade deal would be just that. A rejection of a trade deal. It wouldn't overturn the result of the first referendum, before that result has even been followed through.

('Profit' is only a dirty word when it's not linked to EU trade)
