If there was, then that explains why the country was left with so much debt after the last labour government - Which explains why the UK is still spending £39 billion a year on paying off just the interest on what the country now owes (thats more than the housing and environment budget combined, or just over a quarter of total spending on the NHS). Which explains why the issue is not caused by the tories.

And then get the consent of the people. Which they clearly haven't got. And when that desire for political union harms trade, then I would argue its time for a rethink. But thats up to the EU. There are plenty of successful countries outside the EU. And the UK will join them.
