  2. Remember that Russia still claims there are no Russian forces fighting in Ukraine. It still denies it has anything to do with the war there. Remember that Russia blocked an international tribunal to prosecute those who shot down MH17. Remember that it continually vetoes UN investigations into chemical weapons attacks by the Assad regime in Syria. Russia believes that as long as it lies and plays the victim, it can do what it likes. And that includes carrying out terrorist attacks on the streets of the UK using weapons grade chemical nerve agents.

  6. In 2016, the JIT (Joint Investigation Team, made up of the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Australia, and Malaysia) confirmed that MH17 was shot down by a Russian 9M38 Buk missile. The Buk missile system had been transported from Russia into Ukraine on the day MH17 was shot down, and then back into Russia again after the crash. When the Netherlands, supported by the other members of the JIT proposed the UN set up an international tribunal to prosecute those responsible, Russia vetoed it. All that information is readily available. And supports both Ukraine and NATO's claims of Russian forces fighting in Ukraine.

  9. Nope. Remember those 'little green men' that Putin denied were anything to do with him? They were Russians. Pretending not to be there. Just as they pretend not to be in eastern Ukraine today. They held a sham 'referendum' at gun point in an effort to legitimise Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territory.
