  1. It really is pretty simple. Was the cladding banned in the UK as some have claimed? If the answer is yes, then who OK'd the renovation? It shouldn't be hard to find out. Was it the tenants association? The council? Who? And who signed off on it? Obviously, the investigation will take time. But not fuckin years!

  3. It's as if those on the left of politics no longer make the connection between government spending and where the money actually comes from. Which would explain how refusing to massively overspend can be labelled as 'miserly and selfish'. Perhaps those lucky enough to be living in taxpayer subsidised housing should have an increase in rent?

  4. Annie Mouse I don't see how tory cuts (because of MASSIVE Labour debt) would mean anyone would have to clad a building in flammable material.

  5. If you receive benefits, you can get free dental treatment. Substandard dwellings? They lived in a tower block not a ghetto. The NHS is free at the point of use. It's the same treatment that everyone who uses the NHS gets. Poor diets? You're generalising. You have no idea what financial situation most of those people were in.
