@alfredbarrow1543 You didn't answer the main point. Which is why is it ok for one non-UK citizen to fund the remain campaign to a total sum of over £700,000, but not for other non-UK citizens to fund leave?

Why are the remain campaign still campaigning? And where are they getting their funding from? Let's not pretend that 2 years after the referendum the media would still be focused on this if remain had won. And they are still campaigning.

@alfredbarrow1543 I'm not deflecting from any facts. I'm simply pointing out that George Soros also broke the law. And the remain campaign took money off him in the full knowledge that he broke the law. So now explain why that doesnt make the remain campaign at least as corrupt and dishonest as the leave campaign in regards to Arron Banks.

@alfredbarrow1543 In 2002, George Soros, the multi-billionaire investor who financed the remain campaign to the tune of over £700,000, and who isn't even a UK citizen, was found guilty of insider trading and ordered to pay £1.4 million in fines by the French courts. So I guess that kinda evens things out?

@alexandradenton267 No it isn't. In an attempt at overturning the referendum result, the accusation is being made that the leave campaign is tainted by corrupt money. All I have done is point out that the leave campaign is no more tainted by corrupt money as the remain campaign.

As for dodgy Russian connections, in 2013 Vital, major donor to the remain campaign, signed a deal with Rosneft, the vastly corrupt Russian oil company, that is now under sanctions from both the US and Europe.

I like Blair. But I don't agree with him on the EU. I detest Putin and his lying criminal KGB regime. But thats not a reason to support the EU. Why are the remain campaign still campaigning? Where are they getting their cash from? No point complaining about division, while your own refusal to accept a democratic vote (and willingness to paint half the population as 'racist') keeps that division going. Where do your allegiances lie? With the UK? Or the EU?

@jameswhiteley6843 That is true. He donated £400,000 to overturn the referendum result. On top of the £303,000 his Open Society Foundations also donated.

As thats not all. Another leading funder of the remain campaign (just over a quarter million donation), Bet365 (online bookmaker), owned by Denise Coates, was fined a massive $2.75m for misleading and deceptive conduct in Australia in 2016 - Don't see the media focusing on that. Why not? Why is only half the truth being told?

Now lets move on to Lord Sainsbury, the largest donor to the remain campaign (donated £4,228,234). In 2014, two Labour groups, Progress, and Movement for Change, were fined a total of £10,000 for accepting money from him when he was not on the electoral register.
