The Assad regime have been caught out using chemical weapons against the Syrian people a number of times. But I guess it all depends on who you want to believe - the UN, EU, US, UK, the entire western world and most other countries. Or the Assad regime, Putin, and the Iranians? Lol

@WestfaliaStuff BS. Germany and France have done and will do, absolutely nothing about this. But sit on the side lines while pointing at the Big Bad Trump. I don't like Trump. Never have. He co-opted left wing 'anti war' rhetoric and stood on a platform of non-intervention. And this is that policy playing out. Don't forget, non-intervention is precisely the policy the UK's own labour party pursue. It's mainstream left wing ideology. They couldn't even manage to support taking on ISIS. According to them, the UK shouldn't even be in Syria. Neither should the US. Well, this is what non-intervention, or 'No More War', looks like. And it ain't going to be stopped by Germany or France not selling weapons to Turkey for a few years. Pathetic.

@WestfaliaStuff If it weren't for Iran and Russia backing the Assad regime there would have been no war.

@WestfaliaStuff For much of the war the Assad regime was more interested in wiping out the FSA than taking on ISIS. That was important, as it wanted only two options - Assad or ISIS. But like I said, if he had stepped down at the beginning, there would have been no war and no ISIS.
