  2. Yes, this is identity politics. All identity politics is sold in reaction to a perceived threat to that identity (in this case, 'white genocide'). Richard Spencer is not talking for himself. He is talking for the racial identity and culture he claims to represent. So it really doesn't matter how many acres he owns (Castro died a millionaire, etc).

Or is it just a case of the mainstream left of politics no longer bothering to put up an argument, and simply reverting to calling anyone who they disagree with a racist? I don't like Trump at all, but he's not a fascist. Vastly corrupt and probably mentally unstable, but not a nazi. When has Trump advocated the US being a whites only state?
