  1. Meanwhile, the rest of the country are mystified as to why UK left wing politics now appears to revolve around the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Apparently to the exclusion of all other concerns. Nothing else is quite as important to them. Not Syria. Not the Russian war in Europe waged against Ukraine. Not the Muslim Uighurs in China. Not the thousands fleeing the economic calamity in Venezuela. Not Libya. Not Cuba. Or Iran. Or North Korea. Or countless other world issues. The question is, have they imported this obsessive hatred of Israel from the muslim world? Or have they borrowed from the far right?

  2. Does hatred of Israel really come from Israel's 'horrific human rights' record? Pakistan has a far worse human rights record than Israel. Do the left hate Pakistan? How about Iran? Iran has a far worse human rights record (alongside its involvement in the Syrian war to prop up the bloodthirsty Assad regime). But instead of hatred, Corbyn is supportive of the Iranian regime (going so far as to work for its propaganda channel PressTV). Or what about Russia? It too has a far worse human rights record than Israel. It occupies its neighbours territory. And wages constant war (latest being in support of the Assad regime). Why no hatred of Russia?

  3. Google Conqueror There are 8.7 million Israelis living in Israel. And 197 million Pakistanis living in Pakistan. I think we can all agree that Pakistan's human rights record is far worse. And yet, as I say, the left really couldn't care less about Pakistani human rights. So now tell me who are the better advocates?

Google Conqueror So even tho both Pakistan and China's human rights record are far worse than Israel's, the leader of the UK labour party should ignore that, and concentrate exclusively on Israel? Isn't that more than a little suspect considering Corbyn's personal support of, say, the Iranian regime? Not to mention his 'friends' in Hamas and Hezbollah, and his sectarian terrorist friends in the IRA? Surely, if Corbyn is all he and his supporters claim him to be, shouldn't we be holding him to a higher standard, rather than ignoring his blatant anti-Semitism, and his commitment and support of Islamist extremists and murderers?

''...Because there aren't Iranians influencing western domestic and foreign policy'' - Yes there are. Check out Corbyn's fellow travellers in the so called 'stop the war coalition'. Or just check out Corbyn's support of the Iranian regime itself. And do I really think Jeremy Corbyn is in league with the extremists?? Yes. Just as he was with the IRA. Also, if there's one thing radical extremist religious sects are good at, its hating each other. So no, its not news to me that Shias and Sunnis 'don't get along'.
