  3. Sha Dow And quite clearly the same can be said for Adolf Hitler. But the trouble with your theory, is that you can't actually quantify far right/far left ideology, and then claim one is more virtuous than the other. It is true that those on 'the left' tend to be more empathic. However, they also tend to be less conscientious than those on the right (the present Labour/Conservative economic policies are a very good example of this). And conscientiousness is important. Because without it, nothing gets done. Imagination is all very well. Until it leads to the complete re-ordering of society. And the inevitable authoritarianism that follows. I'm thinking Karl Marx. Empathy is no guarantee against some fool wanting to impose their revolutionary new world order. And as is clearly in evidence with Corbyn, intolerance is not and has never been just a right wing thing.
