So remainers are so fanatical in their loyalty to a political union that no one ever voted for, that they are prepared to completely trash the democratic process? What future is that for your kids? What argument are you going to use to legitimise your vote, or any vote, in the future? Because if you're not prepared to respect democracy, why should anyone else?

While it is true that the Russian 'Internet Research Agency' have been very active during western elections (Russians can have an opinion on everyone else's elections, but their own), they really dont have to bother trying to undermine democracy in the UK at this present time. As the remain campaign are doing such a very good job of that themselves.

Sven Tempest Then you'll have to spell it out for me, won't you? Because as well as having a referendum, parliament has already voted to implement article 50 - So I'm wondering, is there some other representative process that needs to be done that you can think of? Have you suddenly discovered another layer of parliamentary democracy that up until now no one was aware of? Found several millions more of the population hiding under a rock that hasn't cast their vote, have you?

I really don't think they need to bother, do you?

I've actually been to Russia. It's a terrible place. The people are very sullen and gloomy. With good reason. Corruption is massive. Its everywhere. Much of the country is still the third world. It's like stepping back in time.

John Smith Corbyn got help from thousands of 'Putin's little helpers' during the last election. All pushing the Corbyn message on facebook. See, Russia is a very unhappy place. Very backwards. And the Russian people are naturally subservient to authoritarian rule. It's why they have an ex-KGB secret policeman inside the kremlin again. I would strongly advise against ever going there.

John Smith It's ok if you're a poverty tourist I guess. Or a historian. It's like stepping back in time to the 1930s in much of the country.
