We also know that many ISIS fighters are ex-Assad forces who were trained by the Russians. And that both Assad and ISIS have used chemical weapons, despite Assad claiming to have got rid of them (where has he been getting them from?). So you can bet that when the two dictators Assad and Putin (KGB) get together, there ain't much in it for the Syrian people!
