Russia takes the side of a mass murdering tyrant. No surprises there then.

And yet here we have Russia and its terrorist war criminal puppet Assad blowing the shit outta hospitals and aid convoys. As well as helping to arm and train Islamist terrorist forces in Syria fighting against the FSA.

Russia supplies weapons to both Hezbollah and the PKK. Both terrorist groups. It also helped arm ISIS when the FSA were the only serious opposition fighting against ISIS. Many ISIS fighters were also trained by the Russians before they defected from the Syrian army.

Both Hezbollah and the PKK are terrorist organizations armed by Russia. Their terrorist attacks are well documented. And it is a fact that Russian-trained Syrian troops have defected to ISIS units. Both the Russians and Assad have concentrated their attacks mainly against the FSA rather than ISIS. And the FSA have, of course, done by far the most fighting against ISIS. Assad also allowed a number of military camps to fall to ISIS without a shot being fired. Along with shit loads of military hardware.

So you're getting technical with the word terrorist now? How convent! Would you consider torturing to death ten thousand of your own people (including children) terrorism? What about the deliberate targeting of hospitals and aid convoys? Indiscriminate bombing. Or the use of chemical weaponry against civilians? I would. Which makes Assad a terrorist and a bloody murderous war criminal. And why this sudden Russian concern for sovereignty? The Kremlin can hardly preach after what it did in both Ukraine and Georgia. Never mind Chechnya. So what are the Russians doing in Syria? Is their plan to bomb the country back to the stone age until every Syrian is either dead or has fled the country? Meanwhile the FSA, the force that has done the most to combat ISIS, is targeted by both ISIS, Assad, and Russia. Assad is a war criminal. As is Putin (lets not forget the invasion of both Ukraine and Georgia and the annexation of territory from both countries, as well as the shooting down of MH17). And the Kremlin has absolutely no interest in seeing anything other than it's puppet remain in power. Crude Kremlin propaganda can't hide the truth. And neither can pathetic lowlife trolls on YouTube.

Many of Assad's Russian trained military also changed sides to fight for ISIS. So I guess, using your own argument, Russia also arms and supplies ISIS? And the number of civilians killed by Russian airstrikes far exceeds the numbers killed by US airstrikes. This is to be expected. Putin will fight to the very last Syrian to keep his naval bases in the Mediterranean. The fact that Assad is a bloodthirsty mass murdering tyrant worries the Russians not one bit. All through history they have always backed and supported genocidal regimes. Putin's war on ISIS is just kremlin propaganda. He's far more interested in wiping out the FSA forces. Which is why the Russians concentrate their attacks on them rather than ISIS.

And there is plenty of evidence of Russian war crimes in Syria. Which is no doubt why Russia recently withdrew from the International Criminal Court.
1
No. Russian war crimes in Syria have nothing to do with Iraq. Whether you choose to believe Assad and Putin's denials is up to you. But we all know Russia loves genocidal tyrants.

Hundreds of thousands of lives, eh? You sure that wasn't down to fighting the spread of communism? Soviet backed coups, death squads, and more? After all, millions died fighting fascism. And its not like communism has a shortage of genocidal dictators to its name. Imagine the lives that could've been spared if Pol Pot had been taken out early.

Lot of dirty stuff gets done during a war. After all, the west had to ally with soviet Russia during world war 2 to defeat nazism.
1
Once again, the west had to do some pretty bad things in order to defeat nazism too. You obviously know about the soviet union and the evils of communism. Do you not think it was worth fighting?
1
What about soviet backed dictatorships? Do you think the fight against communism was too higher price to pay?
