When the entire UK media feared to publish a few cartoons about Mohammed, was that 'Islamophobic'? Or did they have a genuine concern for what might happen as a result? When a pastor in the US threatened to publicly burn a copy of the Qur'an, and western leaders, the media, and media commentators pleaded for him not to go ahead and do it, was that an overreaction? Were their fears of the repercussions of such a simple act irrational? Or did they genuinely believe that free speech could not be applied to Islam due to the likelihood of a violent overreaction? Because it seems to me that you can't both say that we must abide by Islamic blasphemy law, or else, and claim that there is no problem with Islam.
