  1. As was pointed out in the report, the UK works very closely with the US on intelligence matters, and the US is not a member of the EU. So the UK doesn't have to be in the EU in order to share intelligence with the EU. As for the EU setting the rules by which the UK shares intelligence with the rest of Europe, thats self evident. Because the UK is presently a member of the EU. That will change once the UK leaves. And the UK will have a choice to share intelligence with the EU or not, depending on how willing the EU is to do the same. It all depends on whether Brussels is willing to undermine its own security just to spite Brexit.
