Example, in US and UK, it is relatively easy for a young person to find a job thanks to free market policies, but things like college and housing are extremely unaffordable and young people blame right wing, free market policies for that. In contrast, college and housing are a lot more affordable in continental Europe, however, it is much more difficult for young people to find jobs there compared to US and UK thanks to highly protectionist job policies dictated by unions linked to left wing parties thus young people blame left wing there

I think young people just tend to vote for the opposite as the parties their parents and grandparents tend to vote for and also against who historically has the institutional power in that country. Also social trends in Anglo countries that are not a thing in non-Anglo countries and also things like housing being a lot more affordable in continental Europe than Anglo countries. In contrast, it is much harder for young people to find jobs in Europe compared to US and UK, as reflected by youth unemployment rates thanks to protectionist union policies with those unions being linked to left wing parties

Also more expensive housing. That said, easier for younger people to find jobs in US and UK compared to continental Europe by looking at youth unemployment rates

Meanwhile, a lot of young Europeans are locked out of the job market thanks to left wing, pro-union policies

Canada, Australia and New Zealand have multi-party systems, and yet same trend as US and UK
