Countries with similar average age as Japan such as Italy, Spain and Germany also saw per capita death rates over 10 times higher than Japan.   24.  @Archius_09  they do not wear masks for 11 months of the year. Only if they’re sick, since Japan is very big on hygiene. Most Japanese prior to pandemic do not wear masks on most days, and I’ve been there, but they do have some at home
