  4. America did not recommend/require masks until April. Nor did other western countries. Asians did it at the start. Western death rates are poles apart from Asian death rates with exception of Australia/nz, and that includes Europe, USA and Canada. By Asian standards, it’s not whether western countries bungled their response but how hard they bungled it, and USA was one of countries that bungled it hardest
