Disagree with maps. I found Tokyo’s system maps not hard to follow at all and in fact found NYC harder, and station layout and in fact stations in Tokyo are easier to navigate than NYC

Tokyo is much older than you think. Unlike other Asian system, it opened as early as 1927, only 23 years after NYC and is almost 100 years old
