  9.  @moosesandmeese969  Actually they had housing bubble until the 1990s when it burst during their lost decade that their economy hasn’t recovered from yet. Japanese are also a risk averse people and the lost decade housing crash meant that they no longer trusted using housing as an investment, and same with their stock market, which like their housing prices, has not recovered from the 1990s for the same reason. Plus their population has dropped millions from their peak and Japan has a huge number of empty homes now
