In southeast and midwest, non-college educated white voters, which are increasingly republican respond less to polls generally than college-educated voters, which are more democrat. In Florida, there's another major republican group-Cubans that are under-sampled. In southwest states, a lot of voters are newly naturalized citizens from Mexico/Central America, who like Cubans are also underrepresented in polls. They, however overwhelmingly vote democrat
