Also Arizona republicans tend to be more of the McCain type, and not the Trump type. Arizona republicans aren’t as enthusiastic about trump as republicans in other states. In fact many might defect to Biden

Grand Canyon is best attraction in Arizona

@drunkensailor3736 or basically, western-European conservatism, not American
2
Because division sells. The more they divide, the greater their profit
2
@od9694 I see a trend. Polls tend to overestimate democrats in the southeast, and Midwest states, like Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin while they tend to overestimate republicans in the southwest states, like California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas. I wonder why
2
Because that’s historical trend. And don’t forget AOC took out Hispanic majority district

@elchinoguerrito7360 well gop has few young members compared to democrats, so old guard is still dominant within the party. Since young republican, are too small in numbers compared to old guard, they’re literally forced to suck up to them. Sad but true. In democrat party, way more young members so there is fierce competition and debate between young members and party old guard. Since democrat old guard has less of upper hand against young members, compared to gop, young members don’t have to be as submissive. Republican old guard will likely take much longer to be replaced than democratic old guard

@od9694 what about Texas

Phoenix metro area has long been an exception among large metro areas being more liberal, but that is about to change

Both are already swing states

It is left by American standards, but this channel is based in Europe, this channel is actually considered center-right there, since this channel still supports free market capitalism
1
@jakemitchell7786 he’s not, he is actually catholic
1
Visualpolitik is center right by European standard, but left leaning by American standards since right wing in America since 2016=blind support for Trump with everyone else called leftist
1
@kthemaster1999 Biden is actually just a moderate democrat who’s known for being more pragmatic than polarizing
1
@ShinSheel I think this channel is generally aligned with European conservatism, not American
1
It might go either way. It just becomes a swing state every election like Florida or North Carolina with their razor thin margins every election, or becomes a solid blue state like Virginia and Colorado
1
A lot of Latin American countries elected socialist presidents in recent years. And don’t forget, Aoc won over majority Hispanic district
1
Arizona is actually a purple state for past few years. Trump only carried Arizona by 3% in 2016. Kyrsten Sinema actually won Arizona senate in 2018

@od9694 there are some possible explanations, brought up. In southeast and midwest, non-college educated white voters, which are increasingly republican respond less to polls generally than college-educated voters, which are more democrat. In Florida, there's another major republican group-Cubans that are under-sampled. In southwest states, a lot of voters are newly naturalized citizens from Mexico/Central America, who like Cubans are also underrepresented in polls. They, however overwhelmingly vote democrat
