It’s huge, yet not so well known outside their respective countries, it’s known for it’s food including spicy food, hot humid weather, rivers, floods, etc. Also, considered westernmost distinctively southern city by many in their respective countries

  14. I've heard generally older people in traditionally non-Mandarin speaking speaking parts of China tend to have thick accents. Generally goes like this. People under 30 tend to barely have accents, 30-45 slight accent, 45-60 moderate accent and 60+ tend to have thick accent
