  1. I actually think Chongqing is China’s Houston actually cause hot, humid climate, great food, huge but not so well known outside their respective countries, westernmost big city in their respective countries with a distinct southern feel, etc

  4. Both cities stereotype-overcrowded, ride locals. However there are differences. NYC is considered northern city in USA. Shanghai is considered southern city in China

  17. Personally I think Houston is part of US most similar to Chongqing. It’s huge, yet not so well known outside their respective countries, it’s known for it’s food including spicy food, hot humid weather, rivers, floods, etc. Also, considered westernmost distinctively southern city by many in their respective countries
