  7. Peru is 3rd world country with overcrowded slums. Sweden isn’t. USA is closer to Sweden than Peru. It’s way harder to control a pandemic in 3rd world country with over crowded slums and weak healthcare system, then developed country with strong healthcare system and high living standards with good sanitation
