considering american population is so divided on everything-by state, by city, by race, by gender, by age, by political party. Lack of unity and trust in crisis=bad results

Stefanik lets go. Replace Cheney

actually german system is my favorite. Multi-payer mandatory insurance system. Everybody is covered, yet enough money is going to the system, since the insurance companies are paying the hospitals. Countries like usa with non-universal, optional insurance system has healthcare that is far too expensive for uninsured individuals which is a large portion of population, while for single payer systems like uk, healthcare system often lacks sufficient funding for advanced technology, and highly trained, highly paid medical personnel. Germany is best of both worlds.
5
Not physical size, by population. By physical size, it's only a tiny fraction the size of Texas, not much larger than the size of city of Houston which has less than 1/10 the population
4
@friedhelmkhorchin6868 US and Europe are not aiming for elimination
4
poor can get access to healthcare in america. Its actually illegal to not give healthcare to people that cannot afford it. Also, anyone can get insurance
3
@33crushman you must not be a new yorker
3
Highest rate is in dakotas now which are deep red

USA has much more natural immunity, plus American vaccines are way better than Chinese ones
3

2
@jeanjacquesrousseau1955 America is a lot larger than Germany
2
Very transmissible omicron variant, no immunity and extremely dense city. What do you expect
2
uk's death rate is 13%. More than 3 times america's 4%. Shows that nhs is failing
2
Looks like the south is rising up against covid restrictions
2
@amywalker7515 No, I'm not from Upstate NY, but she always get voted in by large margins, so obviously people there support her
2
Same thing as why cases are surging in Michigan, but not in the Dakotas despite those places all being Midwestern
2
@dardyperson872 we don't know yet
2
they tried and it failed to significantly curb the virus, but also led to economic collapse

Reg M and they probably don’t know much about cars. Reason why they’re pulling out of markets all over the world
1
@jeanjacquesrousseau1955 I was talking about Germany, not all of Europe
1
2016 was a fluke. That scenario had low probability but it still happened. Hard for flukes like 2016 to happen twice in a row
1
more republicans are now voting in texas, florida, arizona than democrats
1
@ErikaWelindt-cs6uz covid 19 death rate spain-10.4% Italy-13.1% Uk-13.2% Belgium-14.3% Netherlands-11.3% USA-5.1% Other western european countries and usa Who's healthcare system is more successful?
1
jobless people do have health insurance in America too. Its called medicaid
1
india and latin america also couldn't handle pandemic. Also, second wave in melbourne, australia, with one of the clusters tied to blm protests
1
Many don't vote because they're busy for work lol, but there's pattern. Recession-elections like 2008 and 2020 where unemployment is high tend to have high turnout
1
and all those ballots were from a democrat county too
1
And Brazil bronze
1
Lockdowns are part of the elimination strategy. Keep people isolated, and let the infected recover or die before they infect anyone. Eventually with lockdown. The virus will run out of people to infect due to lack of interactions between people. Virus is no longer circulating in most Chinese cities now, given that their total lockdown has completely eliminated it
1
south korea is even more successful. Only 10000 cases compared to 130000 in germany and 2.2% death rate, compared to 3% in germany
1
Kanelbullah still they don’t have mega cities like London and New York. USA and Uk are fine mostly. It’s just the mega cities that are causing problems
1
I've heard italy's single payer system has problems with funding, ever since the government tried to boost economic growth and cut debt, which was mounting, thus healthcare system saw a budget cut to it. Same as uk and spain. All 3 countries saw very high death rates due to healthcare systems that was easily overwhelmed due to underfunding by government, their only souce of funding. Germany is best of both worlds. It gets lots of money from wealthy insurance companies, and everyone's covered, unlike in usa where uninsured people(a large porpotion) have to pay thousands out of pocket
1
trump supporters hate him
1
Because countries in west Asia are still seeing uncontrolled outbreaks
1

Australia and New Zealand has the same death rates as Asian countries-4/million when masks in both countries are rare. In fact masks are far more common in the western countries you listed than Australia/nz

Sweden is not safe anymore. In fact it has one of highest crime rates in Western Europe nowadays. It’s also racist to mention that but everyone knows who is committing the crimes there
1

1
Racist
1
Allen Baby India has young population and hot climate. Sweden has old population and cold climate. Old population and cold climate increases death rate
