  1. actually its socialist countries that age faster and earlier and have a low birth rate compared to their capitalist counterparts in the same stage of economic development. Eastern europe(socialist for many decades) also has a very low birth rate. Vietnam, cuba and north korea(all socialist) have by far the lowest birth rates and oldest populations among low income countries
