  2. As you said, the referendum had a clear question and aim. The government was supposed to follow the will of the people on the results of a plain and simple question of policy. But here you have a government that said they would do certain things before being elected and then when in power do exactly the opposite. That would be like taking the referendum result and then switching the votes around. The Starmer government is not only dishonest, but dangerous. People have been imprisoned and at least one has died behind bars because of their governance. Waiting until the next election is too late. What really needs to happen is a system like Switzerland, where the population are polled for all major decisions. That holds all the elected government to what the citizens want.
