I was listening to an ex-sheikh who left islam. He said that he was only allowed access to certain important texts about islam at a very advanced stage of his education. Once he started reading that material, he was shocked to realise just how evil islam really is. He then realised that the entire curriculum of islamic education has been sanitised to remove the bad bits. It is just one big lie.

This is why Jay Smith presents the research of western scholars who do not wish to be pilloried and be the target of death threats if they publicise their own findings. He sometimes mentions how the western scholars he knows have had to move university or even country to avoid the death threats. In today's world it is even worse, because universities would sack them purely because of the effect they might have on income from student enrolments. Truth and academic freedom of enquiry have largely disappeared.

Last time I listened to a discussion about it, there were well over 1,000 text differences between Hafs and Warsh qurans. There are many other arabic qurans with many thousands more differences, yet the standard islamic mantra of dawagandists for decades has been "perfect preservation, to the word, to the letter, even to the dot". This was sold as a miracle that proved islam was correct (a circular argument, but that is normal for dawagandists). Now the bubble has been burst and they are trying to find excuses and plug the "holes in the narrative". Many muslims have been shocked by finding out one of their most fundamental beliefs, drilled into them from birth, was a lie.

Just look at Mecca, and ask if it could possibly be the city they have been told it is. It is in a desert, with no permanent water supply. It is not shown on maps from the 7th century or earlier. It is not on any ancient trader route. There is no archaeological evidence under the sand for a large, ancient city that was flourishing in the 7th century. Nothing. It is a fabrication.

Much of the sharia deals with managing slaves. The English translation of the sharia manual "Reliance of the Traveller" deliberately leaves out the entire section on slaves. No guesses why they did that. The same thing happens with many of the English translations of tafsir, such as Ibn Kathir. They leave out all the embarrassing material.

The first red flag was when you denied Asia Bibi, and then the second was your attempt to deny sharia. I think it is now clear to everyone what you are. Is honesty something you think important?

the quran is a miracle that anyone says it is worth reading. Imagine a book in which the chapters are not in order. Imagine a book where much of the material has been borrowed from other texts, and so poorly borrowed that they get the details wrong. Imagine a book full of repetition, disjointed verses without context, and commands of hate against others. It is evil garbage.

@Delilah513 Prove the claim from sources external to islam, that mecca could possibly be the city you are told it is. Even a cursory look at its location and water supply basis it fails the test for a large, 7th century trading city. It is in a desert.

Shabir has publicly stated that using your captive females for lust is OK. That was with an interview with his daughter. He has no morals. This recent debate was just more of his deceit; he is supposed to be defending islam but instead denies everything about it. At the 1min 20 sec mark he makes a quote from the quran to evidence that allah chose Adam - but if you look up the quote it refers to Jonah, not Adam. So he is dishonest all the way through. He follows the principle of taqiyya, that it is better to "win" an argument by lying than losing by truth.

Sheikh Yasir Qadhi stated publicly that he never discusses sensitive issues like that in public. He said he would never do such a thing, because it is too dangerous. And he is supposed to be a scholar of islam. What does that tell you about their level of open honesty?

You could have easily looked this up when I asked you. You obviously didn't. If you had, you would have found that she wasn't charged with apostasy but with blasphemy. She was never a cult member. Do you see the relevance now? "apostasy laws" You simply side-step your divine law. Nice tactic. You act as if the divine law of the cult has "nothing to do with is lam". Here is what your cult founder said about it, "If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " (Sahih al-Bukhari 3017). Is that clear enough for you?

So let's imagine you were in Asia Bibi's shoes, a Christian, and you had told the judges what you have just written? That you know the true history of islam far better than they do, and that they have it all wrong. That the hadith collections like Bukhari are just lies. That even though all the four major schools of sunni jurisprudence agree on the penalty, it is wrong, and that you should be found not guilty and set free. Remember, the constitution of this country is based on the divine law of the cult. How do you think the judges would have responded to your defence?

The best, most recent historical research shows no evidence for either a 'famous city of mecca' or muhammed. The entire cult is a later fabrication, redacted back to the 7th century and to a non-existent city in the middle of a desert. That explains why there are no original 7th century qurans or hadiths. That explains why no-one in the ancient world had ever heard of a 'famous city of mecca'. That is why there is no archaeology of mecca today. Dig in mecca and all you find is sand. The cult is a lie from the very beginning. Go look at Jay Smith's recent lectures on this, where he presents comprehensive evidence.

Ali talks about "shocking experiences" of young people. He is shocked because young people can now use the internet to access islamic texts that show just how shocking their supposedly divinely guided prophet was. A genocidal warlord and slave trader who assassinated all his critics. How can anyone believe he was the best possible pattern of moral behaviour for the world?

@adamnasser2995 Neither of those. I know never to use URLs because of shariatube. Only muslim apologists appear to able to post those indiscriminately. The two sites I want to refer to are well known, and should have been mentioned in this video. One has gateway in the name, the other corpus. If I write anything more than that, my posts are hidden.

@pascalwager4544 For me, x is about 10 seconds. Some times deleted, some times just hidden from public view (shadowbanned). At least with deletion you can try to work out the trigger, but with shadowbanning it is more difficult.

Different words with different meanings that change the theology of entire sentences. The 'perfect preservation' myth was a lie, deliberately spread by cult clerics to make their cult look miraculous. They lie and have no shame doing so. A cult of lies, hate and violence.

There is an academic website called "corpus coranicum" that presents all the quranic variants in a convenient format. The lie of 'perfect preservation' is exposed forever and exhaustively by this research enterprise. Go to a particular verse and then see all the word variants in different arabic qurans. It is run by a group that appears to be islam friendly, probably because they would otherwise be attacked or cancelled by the religion of piece(s), but the impact of their website is devastating for islam. All those who were lied to about perfect preservation of the quran, "to the word, to the letter, even to the dot", can see just how false that claim is. Then they realise that the 'miracle' of perfect preservation was also a lie. No miracle at all. The entire cult is lies wrapped in threats.

@FriendlyExmuslim I don't believe Shabir was debating truthfully. Imagine if he had to sit down with a panel of muslim imams and defend all the things he said at the debate. He would be torn to shreds and called all kinds of things. Probably threatened. As Sam and others showed, Shabir not only didn't address the issue honestly, but misquoted the quran to bolster his claims (such as quoting from the quran to say Adam was chosen, when the quran quote actually refers to Jonah).

The usual m. apologist tactics of diverting topic and attacking the critics. Even given the anniversary of 9/11. Even though the number of islamic inspired "events" numbers over 40K since 9/11, with uncounted numbers of those lost to this world. Ask a muslim next time to prove Mecca is the ancient famous trading city that muhammed is supposed to have been born in and grew up in. There is absolutely no evidence that it was ever a city in the 7th century or earlier. It is in a desert!

Ayaan Hirsi Ali set up an organization to try and prevent this barbaric practice being done within the USA. She has written and spoken a lot about it, including that it was done to her as a child by her family, and that it is forced upon all muslim girls in her birth country. The life long pain and sufferering is hard to imagine. All because of this stupid cult. A cult that is literally based on lies. There is no historical evidence for either a city of mecca or a guy Md born there. The entire cult is a later fabrication, in order to unify the arab empire. They made it all up. I recommend any of Dr Jay Smith's recent lectures on the true origins of this cult, all based on facts.
