  1. Track orientated Police cars, in NSW anyway, started back in around 1968 when the Force had Morris Cooper S's as a chase vehicle. This came the year after the British Motor Corporation track / rally cars had a feast in global competition including a massacre at the 1966 Bathurst 500. Also won Monte Carlo Rally and World Rally titles.
